Latest News from Artistic Director Simone Ferraresi

Here at Ferrara Piano Festival, the enrollment period has been going very well! The level of participants is very high and I am very glad so many talented young pianists applied to our Master Classes from many different countries, including France, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark and Spain. We already have five participants for Paul Badura-Skoda's Master Class and six for Raekallio's. Mr. Badura-Skoda accepts only one more students and Mr. Raekallio can accept three more.

I want to thank everybody who is helping me with this ambitious event: special thanks go to Dr. Cornelio of Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Ferrara, Prof. Favretti of Teatro Comunale "Claudio Abbado", Ferrara Vice Mayor Massimo Maisto, Mr and Mrs Borasio of Associazione Bal'danza, Francesco Bettini and Eleonora Travagli of JazzClub Ferrara, Mr. Paolo Fazioli and Elena Turrin of Fazioli Pianoforti, Prof. Biagini and Prof. Pagliarini of Conservatorio Frescobaldi, Ferrara Piano Festival Vice Chair Christopher Swann and Ferrara Piano Festival Advisory Committee Chair Mauro Vignolo, as well as volunteers Elisa Franco, Anna Paola De Biase and Martina Amadelli, and last but not least, our main sponsor Hotel Duchessa Isabella.
